Lauren Cook
Director, Media Strategy
As Director of Media Strategy, Lauren develops and authors the overarching media strategy and approach across all paid media disciplines: Paid Search, Programmatic Display, Paid Social, Broadcast, Direct Mail, and Outdoor. This role oversees the evaluation, recommendation, and creation of all performance-based media plans that best solve client objectives and achieve maximum performance results. Lauren strategically translates client objectives into a customized, multi-channel media mix that addresses specific market objectives. “I enjoy having the ability to partner with a client to understand their goals and providing a media solution to achieve them. Media strategy is a constant puzzle that requires continuous learning and development. This means I have the ability to constantly be learning something new and deploying those learnings to achieve success for the client’s business,” Lauren says.
With a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising and Design from Missouri State University, Lauren has worked with a wide range of clients which include American National Bank of Texas, Goosehead Insurance, Genghis Grill, University of Texas at Arlington, and Simon Property Group. Having joined Imaginuity directly out of college, Lauren remarks, “Imaginuity is unique in the fact that it is a full-service agency (most agencies only operate in the digital or traditional space, forcing them to outsource parts of a client’s media, which can fragment performance). With the client’s Media, Creative, and Website all being operated under one roof, it allows our media teams to increase collaboration across the entire brand to ensure peak experience and efficiency for the client. Additionally, this means I get to be on a team with individuals who don’t just know media, but who provide 360 insights into the client’s operations as a whole—making me a more effective strategist.”
When she’s not strategizing on all things Media, Lauren spends her time watching and playing sports (big Kansas City Chiefs fan), spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling somewhere warm, and having brunch with friends. Lauren is also involved with the American Cancer Society. “All of my grandparents fought cancer in some capacity, two losing their battles. This disease has significantly impacted my life, and I hope to see a day where we find a cure,” says Lauren.
